Question 1

Your Steam account cannot trade

Accepted Answer

The notifications "Your Steam account cannot trade right now" and "Your Steam account cannot receive trades" mean Steam is currently restricting trades on your account. The item came back to your inventory on the site.

Common causes

The Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator isn't enabled, or was enabled less than 7 days ago. Without it, Steam holds trades for up to 15 days, and a withdrawal can't go through with a hold.
You recently enabled Steam Guard, changed or reset your password, or signed in from a new device. After that, Steam blocks trading for several days.
Your account has other Steam restrictions.

How to fix it

Enable the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator in the Steam app if you haven't yet, and wait 7 days.
Open the Steam trade offers page. If trading is restricted, Steam usually shows the reason and how long it lasts there.
Once the restriction is lifted, click "Withdraw to Steam" again.

Question 2

Your trade link is invalid or missing

Accepted Answer

If Settings opened with the "Steam Trade URL" field highlighted when you tried to withdraw, or you got the notification "Your trade link is invalid", the site doesn't have your trade link or it's out of date.

Most often the link stops working because it was regenerated in Steam: the old link becomes invalid right away. Another common cause is a link copied from a different Steam account. Trade offers are always sent to the account you signed in to the site with, so the link must come from that account.

How to fix it

Open the Steam trade offers page, signed in to the same account you use on the site.
Copy the whole Trade URL. It looks like this: https://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/?partner=…&token=…
On the site, open "Profile" → "Settings".
Paste the link into the "Steam Trade URL" field and click "Save Settings".
Click "Withdraw to Steam" again.

If the item came back to your inventory because of this error, you can withdraw it again as soon as the link is saved.

Question 3

Withdrawal failed: the item is back in your inventory

Accepted Answer

If you got the notification "Withdrawal failed" with the text "The item is back in your inventory", the trade didn't go through and the item is back in your inventory on the site. You can withdraw it again.

If the notification shows a different reason, look for the article with the same title in the "Withdrawals" category.

Common causes

The trade offer wasn't accepted in time: there's a limited window to accept it.
The trade offer was declined or canceled in Steam.
The item is temporarily out of stock, so it couldn't be sent.

How to withdraw an item

Click "Withdraw to Steam".
Once the trade offer is sent, an "Accept" button appears on the item and in the notification. Click it to open the trade offer in Steam.
Accept the trade offer and confirm it in the Steam mobile app.

Other withdrawal messages

"Items changed, select again" — your inventory changed while you were selecting items, for example some were sold in another tab. The list has already refreshed: select the items again.
"Maintenance, try again later" — the site is under maintenance. Wait and try the withdrawal again.
"Something went wrong. Try again" — try the withdrawal again in a minute. If the error keeps happening, message us in the support chat.

Question 4

Too many failed attempts

Accepted Answer

The notification "Too many failed attempts, try again later" appears after several withdrawals in a row have failed. Trade offers to your account are then paused for a while. The item came back to your inventory on the site.

How to fix it

Find out why the previous withdrawals failed. Usually it's a wrong trade link, a private inventory, Steam trade restrictions, or trade offers that weren't accepted in time. The other articles in the "Withdrawals" category cover each of these.
Fix the cause and wait a while.
Try withdrawing the item again.

Question 5

Your Steam inventory is private

Accepted Answer

The notification "Your Steam inventory is private" means your Steam inventory is visible only to you. A trade offer can't be sent to an account with a private inventory, so the item came back to your inventory on the site.

How to fix it

Open your Steam privacy settings.
Set both "My profile" and "Inventory" to "Public". The inventory can't be more public than the profile, so both need to be open.
Wait a few minutes: Steam doesn't apply the settings instantly.
Click "Withdraw to Steam" again.

Question 6

Your Steam inventory is full

Accepted Answer

The notification "Your Steam inventory is full" means there's no room left in your CS2 inventory for a new item. The item came back to your inventory on the site.

How to fix it

Free up space in your CS2 inventory: sell or trade items you don't need, or move them into a Storage Unit in the game.
Click "Withdraw to Steam" again.
